Rockstar Games will help fight COVID -19, with support from GTA Online and Red Dead Online!
Therefore, Rockstar Games, the studio responsible for Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead, LA Night, Bully, Max Payne, etc … Announced that it will make a huge donation in the form of 5% of everything Grand Theft Auto Online and Red Dead Online can do during the month of April. And if you don't know, these two games are two real gold mines for this company. But read the statement from Rockstar Games:
“The Rockstar Games community is at the heart of everything we do. We love to see players immersed in exploring our virtual worlds, as well as connecting with them through them. So, as our teams go through these difficult times, we see our communities in North America, the United Kingdom, India, etc … Being deeply affected. Small businesses have closed their doors and communities with government support are facing serious difficulties. The path ahead of us is challenging, so we want to help wherever we can.
Thus, from April 1, until the end of May, 5% of all revenue from purchases made within our online games, GTA Online and Red Dead Online, will be donated to efforts in the fight against COVID- 19. These funds will later be used to help local communities and businesses that are facing the impacts of this epidemic, both directly and in supporting some of the amazing organizations that are on the ground to help those affected by this crisis. As things progress, we will share more of these efforts.
We appreciate your support and wish you and your family health and safety. ”
Take-Two (owner of Rockstar) will extend this campaign to more games!
In addition to GTA and Red Dead, Take-Tow will also donate 5% of all revenue made by NBA2K20, NBA2K19, Dragon city, as well as 5% of all sales from The Outer Worlds.
